Muff cabbage is a dish that originated in Scotland. Its made by stuffing cabbage leaves with meat, cheese or vegetables and then rolling them up like a burrito. The cabbage is then cooked and served hot, often with a fried egg on top. The dish is believed to have been created in the 17th century as a way to use up leftover cabbage. Its also said that the dish was named muff because its a traditional Scottish dish that is often served with muff bread.
