Misfire in Shooting - Rapid Fire Pistol Shooting. Occurs if a shot does not leave the weapon. The shooter must then lay his weapon on the table and it is decided whether the failure was caused by a misfire or malfunction. The competitor may be allowed to fire another series of five shots. But even if this series is less than the original series of shots, it is still counted.
