Valencia velodrome

A sports arena located on Valencia Street in [the Mission District] of San Francisco, CA. USA where local athletes walk, rather than ride their bicycles up and down the sidewalk.
Due to the fact zoning laws require that no bicycles be ridden on the sidewalks, and since visibility is lacking in the bike lane, these athletes are forced to walk their machines down the sidewalk in an attempt to compete for the gazes of the female population, which all seem to be dressed like Nepalese Sherpas with [fringed] suede jackets and victorian era blouses.
The winners of this daily competition are entitled to interact with the objects of there desire. Interactions inlcude:
comparing dislikes, discussing past failures, explaining ones need for keeping it real, and the like.
Elite athletes are often associated with the prestigious cycling group [Team Valencia].
