Scoring in Womens Gymnastics. Each exercise is scored from one to 10. The highest and lowest scores of the four judges are ignored and the middle two are then averaged to give the recorded score. Deductions can then be awarded by the judges of a whole, half and one-tenth points. For some events there is starting score with a possIble bonus to create a maximum of 10 points - this can be for originality, risk or virtuosity.
