RE: thermonuclear bomb
A thermonuclear bomb is a weapon of mass destruction that generates explosive energy through the nuclear fusion of hydrogen isotopes. This process involves the fusion of light atomic nuclei, typically isotopes of hydrogen like deuterium and tritium, subjected under extremely high temperatures, in the millions of degrees, to initiate the fusion reaction. Such a bomb is also known as a hydrogen bomb or an H-bomb, and it is hundreds of times more powerful than an atomic bomb. It was first developed and tested in the mid-20th century.

RE: gin and it
Gin is a type of distilled alcoholic spirit characterized by its flavor derived predominantly from juniper berries. Originating from the Netherlands and reaching popularity in Great Britain, gin is typically made from grain mash like barley or corn which is then redistilled with botanicals, primarily juniper. Its often used as a base for cocktails but can also be consumed on its own. It, in most contexts, is a pronoun used to refer to a thing previously mentioned or easily identified. However, if it is referred to along with gin (as in gin and it), it could be signifying a combination of gin and something else, usually a mixer or another ingredient. The exact meaning depends on the context in which its used.
