The<ahref="https://www.fcra.co.in">fcra</a> is an act of parliament enacted in India which makes it necessary to regulate the receipt of foreign contributions in India. The major purpose behind the enactment of fcra was to avoid any sort of misuse of foreign funds as well as to preserve the sovereignty of India.
