  • pinion and ring gear
    ArthuraCigundefined ArthuraCig

A pinion and ring gear are integral components of a differential system in automobiles. The pinion gear is the smaller gear that meshes with the larger ring gear.

The pinion is connected to the engine via the driveshaft, and its teeth mesh with the teeth of the ring gear, enabling it to spin. This interaction translates the rotational motion from the drivetrain into a motion that can be used by the axle to rotate the wheels.

The ring gear, also known as a crown wheel, is attached to the differential carrier or the axle in the vehicle. As its name implies, it is a large circular gear with teeth on its outer edge that mesh with the pinion gear.

Together, the pinion and ring gear help to distribute power from the engine to the axle, which then rotates the wheels, resulting in the vehicles movement.

  • peneus
    ArthuraCigundefined ArthuraCig

In Greek mythology, Peneus was a Thessalian river god, one of the three thousand Rivers, a child of Oceanus and Tethys. The nymph Creusa bore him one son, Hypseus, who was King of the Lapiths, and three daughters, Menippe, Daphne and Stilbe. He also had a son Atrax with Bura, and Andreus with an unknown consort. Tricce, eponym of the city Tricca, was mentioned as his daughter. Some sources state that he was the father of Cyrene, alternately known as his granddaughter through Hypseus. Daphne, in an Arcadian version of the myth, was, instead, the daughter of the river god Ladon.
Eros shot Apollo with one of his arrows, causing him to fall in love with Daphne. It was Eross plan that Daphne would scorn Apollo because Eros was angry that Apollo had made fun of his archery skills. Eros also claimed to be irritated by Apollos singing. Daphne prayed to the river god Peneus to help her. He changed her into a laurel tree, which later became sacred to Apollo - see Apollo and Daphne.

    ArthuraCigundefined ArthuraCig

Pinole, also called pinol or pinolillo, is roasted ground maize, which is then mixed with a combination of cocoa, agave, cinnamon, chia seeds, vanilla, or other spices. The resulting powder is then used as a nutrient-dense ingredient to make different foods, such as cereals, baked goods, tortillas, and beverages. The name comes from the Nahuatl word pinolli, meaning cornmeal. Today, pinole is generally made by hand using wood-burning adobe ovens and a stone and pestle, and is still consumed in certain, often rural, parts of Latin America. Pinole is considered the national beverage of Nicaragua and Honduras.
