A type of cocktail drunk as a test of courage by members of a [brass band]. It is made typically by taking [one shot] of every spirit available behind the bar into a pint glass, and then [topping] it up with a mixture of lager and cider (snakebite).
Occasionally, it is used to fill trophy cups after a major contest victory.
