Hoises

Hoises is a term used to describe sounds commonly heard in the household (ie. house noises). Some examples might include the drip of a leaky faucet, a creaking door, the pinging of a radiatior, or even the eternal moan of whatever restless spirit that may happen to reside there. Older houses or buildings are usually more susceptible to hoises, but this isnt always the case.
