There are separate areas of Tampa:
-NORTH TAMPA is primarily lower-middle class Caucasians and Mexican-Americans.
-SOUTH TAMPA is primarily upper class Caucasians.
-INTERBAY, which is the area south of Gandy Boulevard, is primarily African-American and is another haven for crime.
-UNIVERSITY WEST, also known as SUITCASE CITY by the locals, is primarily African-American and Latino, and is the area that has brought Tampa to the #9 slot on the list of Most Dangerous Cities in the USA.
-WEST TAMPA, which includes the areas of BON AIR and COURIER CITY, is a primarily Latino area where not much goes on.
-CARROLLWOOD is a neighborhood which is technically in North Tampa, but it is home to the upper-middle class yuppies.
-TAMPA PALMS is an area out in the middle of nowhere, almost to the Pasco County line, where a lot of rich people live because they want to be as far as possible away from Tampa because they dont want their precious children to be exposed to real life. -

The most badass town in the Nation. Girls are fine as shit, nice neighborhoods, one of the best nightlifes with channelside ybor and downtown. Beaches all around, sunny all the time- cant beat it. New York doesnt have shit on Tampa.

City in Florida, located gulf coast central area. Geographic highlight is the wide bay flowing out to the Gulf of Mexico. Is the major urban area of a large metro region known as Tampa Bay (which includes neighboring St. Petersburg and Clearwater). Population is a mix of mostly first/second generation transplants from the north during the Florida population growth of the 1970s and 80s, and Cubans and other Caribbean exile communities. Is best known as the home of long-suffering (until recently, when they won the Super Bowl) NFL team Buccaneers, and one of the first successful pro hockey teams south of Philadelphia in years. The bay metro area is also a prominent baseball Spring Training locale and home of a really weak pro baseball team.
Local economy relies mostly on tourism/beaches, with shipping/importing/exporting, finance, and some aerospace industries.
Is considered a middling metro area compared to Floridas major metro Miami/Dade-Ft.Lauderdale-Palm Beach, and not as favorite a tourist attraction as Orlando. However, the beaches are great, the ambience (sp?) is pleasant, and traffic throughout Florida sucks anyway so just live with it, okay?
Metro area is also birthplace of the [Hooters] restaurant franchise. -

In the last 5 years, voted the second worst city for drivers, in the top ten in pedestrian injuries/deaths, 2nd in worst allergy related illness, 3rd most depressing city, 6th worst city for sports, 9th worst city of overall credit score boasting a 675, and the 7th most dangerous city in the united states. If you are coming from up north to move down here, turn around. Were already full.

A city in central Florida (the natives in tampa will try to convince you they are part of south florida but just ignore them they are the same people who have never been to south beach) where the guys are EXTREMELY thirsty due to a lack of hot girls, the only hot girls in Tampa are from Miami and the rest are ratchet af or redneck af, it is common to see Tampa men drooling over females visiting from south beach and trampa women hissing and snorting at them out of blinding jealousy
