A popular orange furry Seattle fictional character, with sensitive ears and an avertion to [construction workers], penned in the 1970s by author Stephen [Cosgrove]. The Wheedle defined why Seattle is so rainy, took up residence on the Space Needle, and also became a [Seattle Supersonics] mascot in the late 70s and early 80s. Many 30-something Seattlelites love them some Wheedle.
