The point in the ecliptic at which the sun is farthest
from the equator, north or south, namely, the first point of the sign
Cancer and the first point of the sign Capricorn, the former being the
summer solstice, latter the winter solstice, in northern latitudes; --
so called because the sun then apparently stands still in its northward
    or southward motion.

[solstices] are the most amazing, all around beautiful girls you will ever meet they have brains like einstien but hair like an angel. They are the sweetest girls you will ever meet they have hearts as big as all of the universe. they are always open for you to talk to but dont like to much information. if you ever have the chance to meet a solstice [dont ever] let her go because that would be the biggest mistake that you can ever make. No matter [how sad] you may think you are solstice can always cheer you up they will do [whatever it] take to make her friends happy. She is very selfless and generous to all others. She may be shy at first but once you get to know her she will be your best friend for life and always be the life of the party but at the same time never ever take the spotlight off of other people around her.
