          Used to direct peoples horns, usually makes them raise. Most band teachers use these for direction in music. They are stick like figures that are very skinny and easily broken.

              A weapon used by law enforcement and other miscellaneous groups. It may consist of a straight or T-shaped rigid stick, or a collapsible version in both aforementioned forms. They are either made out of steel, wood, or polycarbonate. Contrary to popular belief, batons are NOT made out of rubber, except rarely as in the grip. Common manufacturers are ASP, Monadnock, Fury Tactical, and Smith And Wesson. Some examples are the PR-24, the Monadnock AutoLock, and the ASP 26.

                  Baton in Track Events - Relay Events. A smooth, hollow, cylindrical, tube normally made of metal used for all relay races. It measures a maximum of long and must weigh no less than 1.8oz. Each teams baton should be a different color to assist the judges.
