This is what [trolls] do when they warm up for their barage of pointless comments. Flaming can be defined by making pointless or hurtful mesages or just posting to see your own IM. Flamers are often banned or ignored in a forum or chatroom.

Mockery and insults thrown at internet users back and forth. Over the years it has become out of hand and you most likely will not find a website that includes social networking that doesnt have people flaming each other. Its mostly used on forums and when people go to rant, others would just ignore or say dont care, but others choose to make a war out of it.

Flaming has two definitions: The first one is a homosexual man with very gay qualities, not to say that I have anything against homosexuals.. In other words its a gay man who is very loud, feminine, flamboyant, loves fashion, loves techno, loves musical theater, is very sex obsessed and is very obnoxious.
The second definition is the act of being very rude to someone online usually via comments on a forum or blog or even in a chat room. Its a fine example of how people these days have no social grace. The act of flaming includes insults to a persons intelligence or somebodys mother, trying to make a fool of that person or humiliate that person, crude language, threats and intimidation, and the list goes on and on.
