NOT sexual, it is the action of one person lovingly (and dramatically) attacking another with a hug.
A glomp is often preadatory and lies somewhere in the grey area between a caring embrace, and a flying leap to tackle someone.
The term is used extesively in [anime] culture, as well as online in text form (anime because many anime characters do this often, and online because it is short and descriptive). -

A [glomp] is a silly affectionate hug. For a small person [it it] running up to a larger person and jumping on their back. For a larger person it could mean [swinging] another person around.

This act is often performed as a sign of deep affection for another, though the spine-collapsing is often averted through the user putting their feet on the floor after diving, instead of just crushing [right down] through you. If guys ever [glomp] they often receive strange looks which contain deep fear. (Expressions of pain, if they forgot to put their feet on the floor.)
