Therefore we must denote the source from which the word cunt derives, having been first recorded in the early [1200s] as the name of a street in Oxford, England called Gropecuntlane, a reference to areas centered around prostitution, a form of occupation also misassociated with the vulgar and treated with contempt. To behave cunty is therefore, to behave in a way that reflects a survivor, someone who has had to develop a [thick skin], resilience, the warrior who is mistaken for the witch threatening patriarchal [hegemony] and the divinity of phallogocentrism.
