    A leer is a look or gaze that is unpleasant, suggestive or lascivious in nature; often showing a knowing or sly expression. It could also refer to staring at someone in an unwanted or inappropriate way.

                  Leer is a town in the district of Leer, the northwestern part of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated at the river Ems, near the border with the Netherlands.
                  It has a railway and autobahn connection to Groningen, Netherlands, Emden, Bremen and the South.
