The Genus Loris is a small group of primates which forms part of the family Loridae. These species are arboreal and nocturnal, commonly known as lorises. Two primary species belong to this genus: the slender loris, and the slow loris. They are native to parts of India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. Members of this genus have extremely slow and deliberate movements, a small body size, and large forward-facing eyes.
