Pedicellaria

A peculiar forcepslike organ which occurs in large numbers uponstarfishes and echini. Those of starfishes have two movable jaws, orblades, and are usually nearly, or quite, sessile; those of echiniusually have three jaws and a pedicel. See Illustration in Appendix.
