An alkaloid found in opium. It has a weaker therapeutic actionthan morphine.

Alkaloid found in the [poppy] plant and subsequently in raw [opium]. It is mostly removed from refined opium but is always preset in [poppium] or [poppy tea].
It has neither sedative nor stimulant actions on the user. In fact, it is mostly contradictory to the affects of most of the alkaloids in [opium]. It is extracted and used to prevent post operational stroke and sometimes for erectile dysfunction.
