Knightliness refers to the qualities or characteristics typically associated with a knight, such as chivalry, courage, honor, courtliness, loyalty, and skill in combat. These qualities may also extend to protection of the weak and defense of values or principles. It stems from the medieval ideal of the noble, heroic knight.
