[Homesitting] is the act of staying at home in ones own four walls in order to avoid any social interaction.
Homesitting is often performed by people with [social phobia] who e.g. order food only at delivery services and everything else on the internet.
If they once do leave [the so] called homeseat they tend to stay in a safe 3-mile radius so they can easily return in case social interaction gets too much.
A homesitter usually owns a huge flatscreen TV, a very comfy couch and plenty of other electronics in order to make the homeseat as livable as possible.
