A lizardlike reptile of the genus Chamæleo, of several species,found in Africa, Asia, and Europe. The skin is covered with finegranmulations; the tail is prehensile, and the body is muchcompressed laterally, giving it a high back.

They are famous for their ability to change their color to match their surroundings, hence the nickname, Chameleon given to anyone who changes with what's Popular.
