The term quot;chassisquot; usually describes a vehicles structural frame, on which the actual body sits, but this is only true on quot;body on framequot; vehicles. In vehicles with unitized or quot;unibodyquot; construction, the chassis comprises everything but the doors, hoods, engine and suspension elements.
