Hands off in Ballooning. Method used to see the balloon is ready for takeoff. The helpers start by standing around the balloon holding the basket. They will then raise their hands vertically and if the balloon begins to rise, the command hands on will be given. When the pilot ready for take-off, he will signal the helpers by saying hands off and stand back.
