Dead bowl in Bowls. A bowl that either stops completely outside the rink boundaries or within 15yd of the mat, or is moved beyond the rink boundaries by another bowl. Also if the bowl stops in the ditch without having made contact with the jack while on the green, or rebounds from the far bank without having touched the jack on the green. All dead bowIs are removed from the rink immediately and put on the bank.
