• Tug-o-war in Highland Games. Teams are made up of five or eight players. The anchor man is the only team member allowed to put his heel in the ground. The remaining players must have their heels raised at a height of 0.25in at all times. The players must remain standing, and no handover-hand pulling is allowed. A yellow card is given for any infringements of the rules. Any further fouls result in disqualification of the offending team.
