Somersault vaults in Mens Gymnastics - Vault. There are two types the singular rotational, such as the handspring vault, which uses the rotation in the same direction both on and off the horse; and the counter-rotational, in which the direction off the horse differs in rotation to the flight on to the horse, such as squat and straddle vaults.
