Uneven bars in Womens Gymnastics. Gymnasts swing from one bar to another in an attempt to score as many points as possible. The upper bar is 7.75ft high while the lower bar is 5.2ft hlgh. The bars running along the poles are 11.4ft long. They have a metal support and are made of wood or fiberglass. The elements comprising the compulsory exercise are the same as for the optional exercise. A gymnast is allowed to perform only four consecutive elements on the same bar.
