Nickname for Ohio Stadium, where [the Ohio State Buckeyes] play home football games. It has a cpacity of over 105,000 people and is called simply the shoe by most [Ohioans]. The stadium is shaped like a [horseshoe], thus the reason for the nickname (though the open part now has seats and a huge scoreboard).
