@dianne Actually, "Shit detail" is a real job performed by military service members burning human waste every day over seas in war zones. Life in the Iraq or Afghanistan desert means no plumbing, no trash pickup, and no toilets in a war zone for 4 million deployed to war since 1990. The US military doesn't fly in outhouses to the 80+ forest, jungle, or desert war zones where the US military is forward deployed and fighting. During the day, hundreds or more service members squat over and perform bowel movements into a metal barrel. Then, each morning, gas or diesel fuel is poured onto the huge pile of human waste to burn it, creating a noxious black smoke plume. On a larger military base, where there is garbage pickup, service members bring all their trash, from enemy dead bodies to medical waste and everything else, to a huge burn pit that could be acres in size and set it on fire. The toxic smoke clouds fill the air for miles. The alternative would be piles of trash and human feces all over a military camp causing disease and death. After 31 years of lost war, the US now has hundreds of thousands of ill Veterans sick from the toxic pollution of shit detail and burn pits. That's "Shit Detail." ~ Signed, an old war Veteran.
