The [Candlebox effect] is when an individual or group, usually in a theater or sports setting, gets up and starts dancing for no apparent reason. This phenomenon was witnessed during the [alternative rock] group, Candlebox, show at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix in 2014 , in which a lady was reported to have stood up and danced in her seat during the entire [acoustic] concert much to the dismay and amusement of other concert goers.
