African American Vernacular - noun
A posh (or even Politically Correct) way of saying [Niglish].
This version of English is spoken mainly in the United States by urban lower/working class black people and those from the South. This [bastardised] version of American English (which is itself a poor imitation of British English) shares a large portion of its grammar and phonology with the rural dialects of the Southern United States
Also called: African American English, [Black English], Black Vernacular English or Ebonics
