Alpenglow is THE most divine natural phenomenon on the planet. Right before sunset or sunrise in the mountains, its that scarlet or [golden light] that shows up on the highest tips of peaks. Its an unreal, incredible vista that cant be replicated in any picture--you have to be in the [alpine] to really see what it means. Its why people hike without showering for four days, its why getting up early for that [car ride] is worth it. Everyone needs to see proper Alpenglow before they die.
