A person with antisocial personality disorder. Probably the most widely recognized personality disorder. A sociopath is often well liked because of their charm and high charisma, but they do not usually care about other people. They think mainly of themselves and often blame others for the things that they do. They have a complete disregard for rules and lie constantly. They seldom feel guilt or learn from punishments. Though some sociopaths have become murders, most reveal their sociopathy through less deadly and sensational means.

One who often knows what there doing is wrong, but simply dosent care. Generally Sociopaths have very High IQs and due to this dont see many other people as equals. Lack of conscience. A lot of Murders, Billionaires, and Dictators have been considered Sociopaths.

-Lots of people find you funny or charming, but they dont really know you. Once they get to, they turn away.

-You break laws (even big ones).

A very dangerous person. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. A master deceiver. They are perceived as a nice guy with charm and perhaps charisma but when the layers of the truth are peeled back they are evil, opportunitstic and lack character. A sociopath may look like this:
They are opportunistic and use their keen ability to read people to take advantage of a person’s weakness. They have an error in judgement and have no regard for rules. Their extreme egocentricism makes them do whatever they must to get what they want without regard for other people. They are manipulative. Their character flaw seldom makes them feel guilt or learning from punishments. They always justify their actions. They lack personal responsibility and blame others for their shortcomings, labeling themselves the “victim.” Many sociopaths are also pathalogical liars and can have a tendancy to commit acts of violence.

A wolf in sheeps clothing. An antisocial and opportunistic person who lacks moral judgement and character but has the keen ability to identify and take advantage of the weaknesses of others. They often blame society for their shortcomings and view themselves as a victim. They may come across as charming and charasmatic, but are predators in disguise. Once their true colors are shown, they often posses such traits as narcisim, insecurity, dishonesty, violence, jealousy, and victimizing oneself. Interestingly, most sociopaths have a high degree of intelligence or street smarts.

The worst, most disgusting, biggest garbage individual you will ever meet in your whole entire life and absolutley deserves NOT a single ounce of compassion, respect or love because they themselves are incapable of it and will deceitfully seek to use it against you any chance they get to take as much as they can then skipping away laughing all the way home.

The definition given is inaccurate (For example, if someone prefers to be alone all the time rather than be among friends, family, or other people. Another could be someone who intentionally cuts their wrist everytime they feel they did something wrong)

Self-injury has nothing to do with being a sociopath. I find this offensive and increases the stigma of a serious disorder

Sociopaths are people who have little to no conscience. They will lie, cheat, steal and manipulate others for their own benefit. They know exactly what they are doing, they just dont care because they dont think that way. If you are naive enough, they will brainwash you into doing exactly what they say and what they want which is the only time a sociopath is truly happy.
Sociopaths can hide this well if you havent known them for long. Theyre really nice and charming at first, almost too nice, but its extremely fake. The niceness will last until a problem occurs in which they are at fault however, you will be manipulated to believe that you are in the wrong. There is no reasoning with this person. Things have to be their way or its the highway. They will blame you for hurting them (even if theyre the ones who hurt you) or blame the world for all their problems (knowing full well they do shitty things in general). They are compulsive liars and even if they do apologize, its never genuine. Most are anti social and have few to no friends because most people around them dont want to associate with them. However the sociopath will again tell you that people hate me for no reason/the world is against me. The only person who will put up with a sociopath is someone who is off their rocker or someone who has absolutely no self respect, or both of those two combined.
Piece of advice: Once you realize that you are dealing with a sociopath, RUN.

A laypersons term for somebody with [antisocial personality disorder]: somebody who lacks a [conscience]. This is somebody who knows right from wrong, but doesnt care because he/she does not think in those terms; they care about their own benefit, regardless of who is in the way.
The sociopath is very often thought of as a [serial killer], but that represents only a small portion of them; sociopaths can be anybody.
Sociopaths come in these basic types:
Common: A simple lack of conscience and lack of proper [integration] into society, theyre [feral children] grown up.
Alienated: Alienated from other people, they have trouble empathizing with others.
Aggressive: Comes with a consistent [sadistic] streak.
Dissocial: Abides by gang rules and morals that antagonize mainstream society.
The sociopath generally holds at least three of the following seven traits:

Failure to conform to social norms, including behavior that warrants [arrest].
[Deception]; theyre [glib], [pathological liar]s, and [manipulator]s, often use false names.
[Impulsive] behavior; failure to plan ahead.
[Irritable] and [aggressive], frequent fights or attacks.
[Reckless] [disregard] for the safety of self or others.
Consistently [irresponsible]; their work behavior is often [inconsistent], they can be [catastrophic] parents.
Without [remorse]; will [justify] stealing or hurting others (if you hadnt dressed like that, I wouldnt have [rape]d you).
