A shorthand term commonly used for the NBA franchise the Golden State Warriors. The name originated in the late 1990s and progressively became more popular as the fan base grew and became younger. It was originally coined due to the W in Warriors being pronounced as dub-a-you and it was shortened to simply dub for easier pronunciation.

An expression for a rather pointless number generator often seen on [4Chan] and [Funnyjunk]. A random number is rolled (roll 2, etc) between 00 and 99. If someone was to roll 66 for example, the comment is thumbed up ridiculously high. If theyre unlucky and roll lets say, 65, theyre showered with negative thumbs until their account is banned.
Often accompanied by a picture of [Christian Bale] pointing at the roll (or something similar).

Commonly used to refer both to two dime bags of weed (which, incidentally, equal 20 dollars) and to 20 rims on cars, particularly SUVs. The word dub is used to refer to something that equals 20, whether it be weed OR rim size.
