A pessimist in denial. Someone with an overwhelmingly negative view of the world and the future, but does not want the stigma associated with being called a pessimist, so they claim to view the world as it really is. Of course, in the eyes of the realist, its never really good, it always really sucks.

A realist (by definition) is a person completey unbiased. Something we should all stride for. There are people that are so biased that literaly nothing can sway there way of thinking. If they think the sky is green god himself couldnt make them think any differently. Unfortunately nobody on earth is a full realist because we all have some level of bias. But we should always stride to be as close to reality as possible.
