A large purse or pouch made of skin with the hair or fur on,worn in front of the kilt by Highlanders when in full dress.

A hairy man purse used to hold valuables when wearing a Kilt. Often use to give the young maiden a Sporran slap. (Sporran slapped across the face). Most commonly found on Scottish men or across the face of females.
