Inverse sine, also known as arcsine, is a mathematical function that undoes the operation of the sine function. It accepts a percentage or ratio and gives an angle whose sine is that percentage. Its principal values are in the range of -90 degrees and 90 degrees (or in radians, -π/2 and π/2), which is the inverse of the range of the sine function. Inverse sine function is denoted as sin^-1(x) or asin(x).
