The dispossessed

a science fiction novel written by [Ursula] K. Le [Guin], published in 1974. It follows the story of two planets, Anarres and Urras. Centuries prior to [the books] plot, residents of Urras did not like the Earth-esque civilization there and left to form their own anarchistic society on Anarres. The two planets have had minimal contact since. Shevek, a brilliant physicist, travels from Anarres to Urras to try and break down these walls of communication that have been up for hundreds of years.

People you would think have nothing left. What somebody has doesnt have to be expensive or valuable financially to be held [sacred] by a person or group youre trying to take something from, even if most things taken tend to [be out] of financial interest rather than for any other reason. It is the belief of some that if you take that which someone or a group of people holds most dear, youve taken everything, youve taken what theyre made of. Its like walking up behind someone and [stabbing] them in the heart, or between the [ribs].
