(of a slope) rising or falling at a sharp angle:

Steepest: The adjective "steep" describes a variety of heightened or extreme qualities across different contexts:

    • Slope: Indicates a sharp incline, almost vertical, like a hill or stairs.
    • Price: Refers to an exorbitantly high cost that seems unreasonable.
    • Statement or Story: Describes extreme or unbelievable scenarios.
    • Height or Loftiness: Evokes a high or elevated status, often in a physical or metaphorical sense.

Think of "steepest" like a slide at the playground. If a slide is really steep, it goes almost straight down and you slide down super fast. Now, imagine several slides next to each other, each one is steeper than the other. The one that goes almost straight down and makes you slide the fastest is the "steepest" slide among them.
