Shyster is derived from the German term scheisser, meaning literally “one who defecates,” from the verb scheissen, “to defecate,” with the English suffix -ster, “one who does,” substituted for the German suffix -er, meaning the same thing.

Generally used to describe someone who is untrustworthy, money grabbing and full of crap, particularly in the field of legal work for some reason.

The proper name for an attorney or a lawyer. A money-grubbing scoundrel who tries to save subhuman scum from execution, or who sues honest people who are trying to do their jobs.

A slime-ball creature lower than dirt. A person to intimidate you and bill you for their lies and deception. Someone who is more interested in their place in the professional pecking order than an advocate for clients. A high priced whore who is conjugal with either side of a dispute who then lends his or her support to the highest bidder.

Someone who makes a career out of setting up bogus companies that recruit backpackers to make unsolicited calls aiming to fool unwary people into buying worthless services like advertising on their internet business directories or investment scams that pretend to offer huge returns but actually pay a small portion of the original investment then collapse and take the rest. In Australia, over half of them live on the Gold Coast.

Legendary Monster of Olde, the Shyster is a gangly, pale monsters with long, rake-like claws, perfect for picking roaches out of the deepest of ash trays and picking dutch money out of your pockets. Some say the Shyster acts as a form of smoking karma, bad smoking habits and general shystiness invites the unpleasant visit of the shyster. Others believe he's the fifth rider of the apocalypse, but sold his horse for pot and got ditched by the rest of the riders, now he forever roams the earth in search of pot, disregarding all morals and ethics.
