A striped racer, also known as the California whipsnake, is a species of non-venomous snake native to the coast and foothills of California. It is a long, slender, and fast-moving snake, identified by its distinctive stripes running down the length of its body. They primarily feed on lizards and small rodents. The scientific name for this species is Masticophis lateralis.

Wicken is a small village in a rural area. It is located 5 miles south of the cathedral city of Ely, near the marsh border of Soham. Wicken is a lovely village surrounded by three ancient green spaces and a pond, surrounded by various buildings. There are many protected buildings in the residence.
In an uneven triangle, it occupies 1,604 hectares. Its west side mainly follows the tortuous route of the Kan River, but it does have a small section along the west bank of the river, which used to be part of the ordinary Wicken channel.
War memorial
The war memorial is to commemorate the people of the region who lost their lives in the two world wars and is located near the village green. Bailey was a tragic name in both world wars, with three in the first time and one in the second. There is also a reference to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of women's institutions (1965).
