A town in southern Illinois and home to southern illinois university home of the [saluki]. Carbondale has a rich history of party tradition consisting of riots during [holloween]. [Holloween] has been since banned starting in 1976. Home to the number one party school until 1997 but has remained in the top 20 to this day. A common school moto shared by all students is Cs with degrees. If you ever visit hit up the spillway which is a nonstop lake party in the spring. Also, make sure to take a trip down the strip where fun can always be found.
