A plant of a genus that comprises the barberries.

This is the universal term, used in the Bay Area. To describe any boy in high school who is of both [Eastern European] (usually Greek) and Asian/[Polynesian] descent. Berberises enjoy skateboarding, consuming drinks with enough alcohol to only get a spider tipsy, and dating casper-pale [Asian girls] who are often mistaken for men. Despite all of their faults, everyone loves a Berberis as they are kind-hearted, hilarious, and light-weights that sound funny when they cuss.
