      To be bait means that it is obvious that you are doing somthing that you shouldn't be doing. When Someone tells you to stop

                Usually associated with doing some kind of illegal/disobeying activities.
                When someone is being bait, it means that they are not being careful in whatever they are doing, and are likely to be caught.
                If a situation is bait, it means that there is a large chance of being caught at whatever you are doing.

                    Bait in Fishing. Used to tempt fish to bite. Bread, cheese and lunch meats are used for coarse fish, and natural baits such as shellfish, ragworm and lugworm for sea fish. Game fishing often involves the use of artificial flies.
