Unofficial language (words or grammar) or interpretation of language, usually because the language is too recent or not used widespread enough to be assimilated officially. Slang exists in pretty much every language, and is part of the natural evolution of a language.

Portmanteau for the words : Short and LANGuage
Influenced by different languages, dialects, cultures, sayings, and on some occassions, tone or accent of a voice, the word SLANG caught on as a coined term during the late 80s in Atlanta, Georgia by Madamé Constable Charlotte Hemingsworth VIII as she was famous for speaking in a Southern accent and was too lax to complete phrases during normal conversations. She claims that it was for the purpose of concealing topics amongst close friends from eavesdropping citizens or members of the small community.

Any non-conventional use of real words, or made up words that arent recognized by every facet of society. Slang is often misinterpreted by people as the collection of phrases on urbandictionary.com.

What slackers use when they are too fat and lazy to type an actual word out themselves. Some types of Slang consist of LOL, TTYL, WTF, ROFLMAO, and even the occasional: OMFGYSSILYSFMWYMMRNBCILYSFM! meaning, OH MY FUCKING GOD YOURE SO SEXY I LOVE YOU SO FUCKING MUCH WILL YOU MARRY ME RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I LOVE YOU SO FUCKING MUCH! Im not sure why people are so lazy, but when they use Slang you know they dont feel like talking to you.
