My personal favorite is the vintage 1979 2 door sedan. Rear wheel drive, 1.6 liter engine, bought it for and it's still running strong.

Starting off with rear wheel drive in 1966, the Corolla was introduced in the U.S. in 1968 powered by a 1.1L engine. Skipping over all the useless 1 something liter crap, the Corolla is still using a 1.8L engine, and Toyota has sold more Corolla's than most companies have sold cars.
