Used as a [justification] for fixing a draw in a sporting event. Instead of using the accepted 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7... etc. [seeding] system, the organiser of a [tournament] may decide that 8 has a greater chance of beating 1 than 7 does and therefore may chose to draw the tournament so that 1 plays 7 instead.
