Balance beam

Balance beam in Womens Gymnastics. The beam measures 17ft long, 4ft high and 4in wide. It is covered with vinyl or leather and is made of wood padded with foam rubber. A gymnast will approach the beam from the board or floor and the exercise must last from 70 to 90 seconds. She can use two static holds on the beam.
